Ares helps cross-strait customers in designing in Oracle Agile PLM solution
Ares helped Taiwan’s Thermaltake and China’s Kunshan Centron Electronics in China in designing in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solution in December 2007, with one more company to be also added to the list in February 2008.
The two clients choose Oracle Agile PLM Solution as a part of the e-business of the enterprise, transforming paper-based R&D environment into paperless collaboration environment. By such, related R&D staff can develop new products on the same platform, which can shorten the R&D cycle, let back-end staff to join the R&D process and achieve synchronic engineering.
Thermaltake uses the PC (Product Collaboration) and PPM (Product Portfolio Management) modules of Oracle Agile PLM Solution while Centron uses the PC module:
- PC: Offers an integrated environment to help the enterprise in exchanging and collaborating among the internal and external supply chains
- PPM: Helps the enterprise to effectively manage the costs, resources and time frame of all projects within the whole product lifecycle.
Thermaltake (Tt) is a Taiwan-based computer hardware maker established in 1999. Headquartered in Taipei County, its production base is in China’s Dongguan, with branch offices in Beijing, Japan, the Netherlands, Germany and the US. Its major products are CPU head sink, mainframe, power supply and other PC peripherals.
Kunshan Centron Electronics is a professional SMT assembly house under the Taiwan Wus group.
