Ares upgrades Notes Management for IC substrate company Kinsus


Ares International Corp has officially upgraded the Notes Management (NM) system for Kinsus Interconnect Technology, a major Taiwan-based IC substrate maker.

Kinsus signed the agreement for adopting the NM system of Ares in 2001 for managing the bank accounts and notes with its customers. Ares NM system can meet the need of Taiwan-based companies for managing bank accounts and notes as well as the Oracle Application Coding Standard. The NM system is perfected integrated with Oracle Financial Application, is flexible and efficient.

Kinsus has chosen Ares NM system to strengthen two major functions: bank account management and real-time currency. Also, the company needs segmentation of process flows according to individual authorization. Within one month, the NM system went live smoothly.

With the new upgrade, Kinsus not only has a more efficient NM system, but also allows related departments to maintain bank account management, notes management, notes-receivable management according to individual authorization. In addition, the system is equipped with bank account transfer media interface that can directly process e-banking data which thereby significantly improves its efficiency. With the e-trend of notes system, Kinsus is expected to achieve real-time cashing, reconciliation, as well as concretely display the difference of between account ledgers and actual changes of the bank.

Kinsus successfully upgraded to the new GV Invoice system in May 2006. The Ares GV and NM implementation for Kinsus are the two projects of Oracle ERP. The Ares professional consultancy team has assisted nearly one hundred large enterprises in successfully implementing the systems such as Gamania Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., Eastern Television (ETTV), Yahoo, Honeywell, Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp., Wistron NeWeb Corporation and Liteon Semiconductor Corp.

Established in September 1990, Kinsus has a capital of NT$2.9 billion (about US$89.8 million), with major shareholders including Asustek, Quanta Computer and Nien Hsing Textile Co., Ltd. After four years of establishment, Kinsus won approval to be listed on the TSE (Taiwan Stock Exchange). The company now has over 2,000 employees and mainly produces and sells IC substrates.
