Ares holds Oracle Agile PLM seminar to share performance and competitiveness insights2009-05-21

Executives from IC design houses and other IT industries listening intently to the PLM application advantages. Through a global financial crisis, enterprises are facing pressing needs to evaluate whether their internal process is competitive enough. To address this issue, Ares International and Oracle held a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) seminar in April 29, 2009 to offer the newest industry trends and related application information for the IT industry to be more competitive and have better performance.

The seminar starts with the welcoming speech by Johnny Wu, sales manager of Ares. Samule Liou, senior consultant of Ares, started the seminar discussions with the first topic: the various aspects of the PLM introduction benefits. During the session, Liou emphasized the only way for the client to have an incentive to push the project is to realize the introduction benefits first. Only under the circumstances can the enterprise improve its competitiveness. Liou explained the benefits that PLM brings to the enterprise and the advantages Ares has accumulated during the years of introducing Agile PLM.

Next, Evan Chao, senior consultant of Ares, unveiled the mystery of Oracle Agile PLM. Chao indicates in an easy and straightforward way for the customers to be familiarized with the seven modules constructed on the Oracle Agile PLM platform. Focusing on the four most commonly-used modules by Taiwan-based customers, Chao introduced Product Collaboration (PC module), Product Portfolio Management (PPM) module, Enterprise Visualization (EV) module and Product Quality Management (PQM) module. As a result, participants had a deeper understanding of Agile PLM and had a heated discussion on the topic.
