Ares invited to join international PKI program to share best practices

Ares International Corp. has been invited to join the "APEC TEL PKI/e-Authentication Training Program" for the fourth consecutive year to promote PKI/e-Authentication technology and offer training to worldwide elites.

A series of lectures given by experts in the PKI/e-Authentication area, supported by government funding, were held from October 28 to November 3, 2009 to nurture international PKI/e-Authentication specialists. During the training period, planned courses under the PKI/e-Authentication theme include Legal Aspects on PKI/e-Authentication Application, Operating Models of PKI, Cross-Border PKI Practice, e-Government PKI Application and PKI Best Practice in B2B/B2C.

James Wu, assistant vice president of Ares uPKI product line, delivered a speech on "Cross-Border PKI Practice." Wu introduced the best practices of self-developed ARES uPKI solutions in South East Asia and Latin America: assisting the Guatemala government in using ARES uPKI electronic signature Customs system, helping the Phu Th? Province government of Vietnam to use ARES SecureDOC System document protection system, and introducing Power Tool, which is a tool for certificate verification, testing and smart card management, for the India government.

Wu presented the best practices in Taiwan e-government of the full product line up of the ARES uPKI solution: Validation Authority (VA), ARES uPKI Access Control Box (ACB), ARES uIAM System, Register Authority (RA), One Time Password (OTP), etc.

A total of 22 representatives from South East Asia, Europe and the Americas had heated discussion after the program, while a farewell party at the last scheduled day drew a perfect ending to this event.
