Ares provides disaster recovery solution for UPS company Eaton Phoenixtec

Ares International Corp. has signed contract with Eaton Phoenixtec MMPLCo., Ltd., a Taiwan-based UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) company, to provide disaster recovery (DR) function for Eaton Phoenixtec, with the expected system go-live date to fall in the third quarter of this year.

Ares has provided its self-developed Human Capital Planner (HCP) system for Eaton Phoenixtec and Eaton Phoenixtec is confident about the abundant project implementation experiences that Ares has. As well, Eaton Phoenixtec needs a stable system amid the different electric systems across the Taiwan Strait. Consequently, the UPS company has decided to assign Ares to implement DR function to strengthen its competitiveness and ensure a stable system.

Ares will provide hardware planning, database backup while evaluating the backup structure, as well as the cycle and region that need backup configurations. As a result, the data of Eaton Phoenix will always be protected. Additionally, the UPS company can complete data backup synchronically in Taiwan and China. All in all, its key data can be protected against data loss regardless of time and location.
