Ares signs Best Company to Work for Declaration to implement CRS
Ares International Corp. recently joined the “Best Company” to work for declaration promoted by six Taiwan industrial and commercial organizations, hoping to achieve corporate social responsibility (CRS), avoid career disasters, and create employment opportunities for employees to build a happy workplace.
The six groups are Chinese National Association of Industry and Commerce, Chinese National Federation Industries, General Chamber of Commerce of the R.O.C, National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, R.O.C, Taiwan Federation of Industry, Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association.
Harry Yu, chairman and CEO of Ares, said Ares has been dedicated to IT services for over thirty years, nurturing many excellent talents, and consistently uphold the idea of employees is an important asset of the company. Therefore, Ares is already and will keep realizing the declaration of best company to work for.
The six groups promote “best company to work for” declaration to create a friendly working environment for employees, and require companies to comply with the labor standards law to take care of employees and fulfill CRS. Meanwhile, requirement of giving care to the community and the promotion of environmental protection are essential.
Details of the methods to realize the declaration include requiring companies to think highly of the work space to avoid the occurrence of occupational hazards, adopt full contribution pension, establish humane vacation leave system for employee health concern, provide employees with family care support, provide security goods for consumer, conserve energy to reduce carbon emission, etc. As such, the society and company staffs have substantial help and happiness index can be improved.
The physical and mental health care of employees has long been valued by Ares. In response to the Declaration, Ares has extended the health check allowance standards to encourage company employees have regular health checks. Yu mentioned that to lesson employee economic burden after sickness, the company will work to pay for related expenses during extended sick leave at the same time, so that the guarantee of “The company will ask duties to be fulfilled but will take care of employees” shows the practice of the declaration.
Ares pays much attention to the importance of exercise, and provides subsidies to encourage employees to participate in team sports. Ares also has cycling club in addition to physical fitness exercises to strengthen team spirit. Frank Lin, Ares president, said that a healthy body is an essential means for supporting work; therefore, Ares attaches great importance to employee disease prevention measures, encouraging employees to take more exercise and to strengthen their bodies to provide better service to customers.
Ares also held a staff gathering recently, providing balanced and delicious meals for employees to enjoy, in addition to feeling the warmth of the family. The gathering also foster communication between departments, so that employees can relax and be ready for future challenges.
