Ares Awarded Certificate as Technological Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA
Ares International Corp. was recently awarded Certificate of Registration as a Technological Service Organization by Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), which proves that Ares has long been known for its information security technology and service to financial institutions, government agencies, and enterprises.
Frank Lin, president of Ares, mentioned that Ares always spares no effort to cultivate information security technology and service fields. Last year, to help build information security environments for our country and industry, Ares even works with National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology (NCSIST) on the development of the information security technology and its defensive strength. Ares was certificated as a technological service organization by IDB in seven service items including data en/decryption products, vulnerability scanning operations, comprehensive anti-virus/malware services, computer audit services, certificate registration management systems, public key applications, and digital right management products, acquiring a well-deserved reputation.
Ares' ubiquitous Public Key Infrastructure (uPKI), certified in data en/decryption products, certificate registration management systems, and public key applications, not only ensures information flow security but has applications that can quickly verify digital signatures and related operations. Patented ARES Privacy Protector (ARES PP), certified in data en/decryption and digital right management products, possesses detailed audit records to protect documents for enterprises, to help companies manage information security, and to rapidly fit various information security regulations like recent EU (European Union) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Fortify Static Code Analyzer (Fortify SCA) and WebInspect, a dynamic defect inspection tool, both distributed by Ares, was certified in vulnerability scanning operations for cross-correlation analysis of static code analysis and dynamic application penetration testing. Malwares, security weakness, and vulnerability, therefore, can be found and reported to help enterprises look into cyber security risks and quickly fix them. More, the national-defense-level information security health check service, built together with NCSIST, was certified in comprehensive anti-virus/malware and computer audit services.
Additionally, Ares has been certificated as a technological service organization for consecutive six years in two items, software products and information technology services, as well as five registrations of technology services including enterprise application software for enterprise resource planning, infrastructural information safety software for security assessment, implementation services for information safety and application development, and software support services for application maintenance. All these prove that Ares was acknowledged by our nation for its professional information services.
History of Certification
- 2017: Awarded Certificate of Registration as a Technological Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA, in two items, (software products and information technology services), as well as five registrations of technology services (enterprise application software for enterprise resource planning, infrastructural information safety software for security assessment, implementation services for information safety and application development, and software support services for application maintenance).
- 2014: Awarded Certificate of Registration as a Technological Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA for IT-1, IT-3 and IT-5 services, enterprise resource planning, as well as electronic invoices.
- 2011: Awarded Certificate of Registration as a Technological Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA, becoming an authorized professional Engineering Service Organization for IT-3 services in six items (system integration services, software design services, information consultant services, information safety management services, software encryption services, public key infrastructure services, identity authentication services).
- 2009: Awarded Certificate of Registration as a Technological Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA, becoming an authorized professional Engineering Service Organization for IT-3 services.
- 2008: Awarded Certificate of Registration as a Technological Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA, becoming an authorized Management Consulting Service Organization in MA3.
- 2004: Awarded Certificate of Registration as a Knowledge Management Consulting Service Organization by IDB of Taiwan's MOEA.
